My work for the past 20 years has always focused on nature.
I use a range of diverse approaches to creating my artwork including site specific pieces, audience participation, performances pieces and film.
My main focus is printmaking and ceramics which often has links with nature. I am inspired by the New Forest, Hampshire.
The context of my contemporary work varies, the focus is to make the invisible visible. To highlight what may be hidden and why it is important to me to give it a voice. While the context of the work has an impact on the work’s relationship to the viewer, I always want to invite the viewer in on my relationship to nature and well-being but to form their own opinion and make their own connections.
